Robyn - What a great gift! I love my coffee press! Trust me when I say that you will never go back to your old coffee maker after using freshly ground beans and your new press.

Elizabeth - You should definitely pick up Everyday Italian, although between you and me, most of the recipes from the book (if not all) are already posted on the Food Network website. It is nice to have all of the gorgeous glossy photos to look at though.

I also love Anchor Hocking. Once upon a time I ruined the lids to my Anchor Hocking glass jars and they sent me replacements for free. Talk about fabulous customer service!

i got a coffee press and a better apple corer! haven't used the coffee press; i'm excited, but have been sticking to my old coffee maker for now. the apple corer is from my husband and it is a little boring but it makes me happy in a way because it reminds me of the kind of practical gifts my dad gets for my mom.

Honestly, the best kitchen gift I got this year was a set of new Anchor Hocking glass measuring cups! My husband had managed to drop and break both of mine, and I use them for everything.

I want Everyday Italian-I'll have to look for it on Amazon. I watched Giada make hazelnut cinnamon rolls, mini frittatas and iced cappucino the other day, and I was just drooling!

Lys,

I'm so jealous that you received a wine fridge and an espresso machine! Those are the next items on my never-ending kitchen "world domination" list of "must haves."

It's almost as much fun to receive all of these gadgets as it was when we were kids and opened up Barbie Corvettes and and Mall Madness board games.

LOVE the bread machine!!!! I adore that Everyday Italian cookbook and use it often.

My kitchen got a bit of a shock with the addition of a new copper wine fridge, a copper pot I've been fondling at Williams Sonoma for quite some time (the Ruffoni Polenta one) and an espresso/coffee maker. However I still can't make coffee. Guess there's no better time to start than now, right? And I can't pick favorites because I love all three. Williams Sonoma must see "SUCKER" embossed on my forehead when I walk through its doors. Most of my wishlist was from there and Sur La Table...
