Oh, what fun! Ice pops are a nostalgic treat and a good way to limit your calories with just one...or two. The novelty alone provides just a little more satisfaction than scarfing bowls of sorbet down w/ a spoon. : )

Krystina - Thanks so much for stopping by my site! I'm really looking forward to testing out some of your great ideas and recipes. I'm hoping to have "Popsicle Week" next week. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for that package full of molds to arrive from Amazon.com. That will teach me to use their super slow "Super Free" shipping.

I just bought popsicle molds from the local hardware store and they don't seem very sturdy. You'll have to let us know how yours work out.

I always ate the red ones, and my kids fight for them, too. Or the blue ones.

Can't wait to see what you come up with, Erin!

When I moved to Texas I started noticing funny looking Popsicles in the freezer case called paletas--Mexican Popsicles. I've never purchased the paletas, but i have tried some delicious Mexican fruit cups that combine tropical type fruits with hot chilis. It sounds weird but it's great, i'm thinking about making this maybe with some of those fancy dixie cup molds you mentioned!

Nix - Me too Nix! Hurry up Amazon :)

Niki - I remember :) Cherry was always my least favorite flavor. I always associated it with cherry cough syrup which I really hated to take.

L - That's awesome! I'm so glad you liked the bread. It's probably one of my top 10 favorite grocery store staples.

Panda - Orange was actually my 2nd favorite flavor, but I wouldn't touch lime with a ten foot poll :)
