Keeping Up with Erin Cooks

My name is Erin and I’m addicted to social media. Think I’m kidding? Guess again! I belong to all of the following and I’d love to have you join me in the fun:
- Flickr
- Del.icio.us
- Cork’d
- Bakespace
- Group Recipes
- LibraryThing
- Google Reader
- StumbleUpon
- Technoratti
- Zeer
- Last.FM
Did I miss anything? Am I not a member of your favorite site? Let me know and I’ll sign-up.
If social media isn’t your thing than maybe you’ll get excited about the fact that The Cheesecake Factory is going to be selling their amazing slices of Cheesecake for only $1.50 to celebrate their 30th anniversary. So stop by on Wednesday, July 30th when they turn back the clocks to 1978, and stuff you face like a pro for a fraction of the price. Personally I’m partial to the Banana Cream Cheesecake and whatever one comes smothered in peanut butter cups. The naughty cheesecake makers will also be offering a special edition Chocolate Cake Cheesecake throughout the year. If you select that scrumptious sounding choice 25 cents from each sale will be donated to America’s Second Harvest. Calories for charity: it sounds like a great idea to me! [Thanks to Shannon from Zeer for the link].

OMG! Though I think the 30th is in 2 weeks, I am SO THERE! Mt favs are also the Banana Cream and the peanut butter. But I enjoy the lemon raspberry as well. Hell I’ll try them all. I seem to recall the snickers one being quite DELISH.
Also - No Facebook? Come ahhhhhn…. where else can you fling a thong or slap someone with a virtual trout? Just another time suck!

I like the sound of bake-space. I have to check that out. oh, and speaking of checking?? gotta find out if there’s a cheesecake factory near me. $1.50 for a slice that’s about the size of Danny? booyakasha! I’m SO down with that! thanks for the tip!

But what about GoodReads? I wasn’t a huge social networking person, but the iphone has totally made it easy.

Love, love, love GoodReads. I’m on LibraryThing too, but somehow GoodReads took over for me. Someone invited me to SocialThing.com as well, which is supposed to be kind of an aggregator. I’m not sure I’m diggin’ it though.

Hey Erin
I don’t think I’ve been to your spot before. I like it! I’m going to have to come back and see what’s going on around this place.
The closest Cheesecake Factory to me is 90 min away. I don’t think I’ll be partaking in this wonderful day.
