For this I'd recommend just buying your own organic peppermint leaves and licorice root (easily found on the 'net or at your local Whole Foods/coop), tossing together equal parts of both, and brewing. Just as good as the Aveda stuff, at a FRACTION of the price.

The Aveda tea is amazing. I love having a cup with milk while taking an Aveda scented bath. For sore throats though, another tea that works really well for me is called Organic Throat Coat by Traditional Medicinals. They sell it at health food stores but I've also seen it at Target.

I've always enjoyed the Aveda products, cosmetics mainly. I had no idea they made or sold tea.

Ooo. Sore throats in the summer are the worst. I just got over a NASTY one myself. Must be something going around.

I must say I wish I would've thought of *this* as liquid comfort. Can't hurt to pick some up for (inevitable) future downtime.

Cheers,
Miss G.

I love this tea! I purchased it at the Jean Madeline school the last time that I got my hair cut. It's so soothing. I was raving about it and my boyfriend assumed it was just another (dumb) girly purchase of mine. But he was sick recently and I gave him the tea to calm his throat. And how he loves it, too! I wanted to say, "I told you so!" but I didn't.
