Jody,

I suspect that the website must just be down today. They absolutely still sell their chips and popcorn.

Here is their contact info if you'd like to try to call them:

100 Breeds Hill Rd
Hyannis, MA 02601
(508) 775-3206

Best,
Erin

Is Cape Cod Cheddar Popcorn available anywhere in December, 2009? I can't get any of their links to work and I am on a bear hunt to find some to send to my daughter in Australia. It was always available in Michigan, but I have been gone from there for years.

Hmmmm....I seem to remember eating it as a kid in the 90's in the midwest. It's interesting because I remember having no idea where Cape Cod was or what it meant, I only knew the popcorn was good.

Amanda - Funny you should mention Italians. My mom actually came to visit last week and she brought Italians with her so I could have a little taste of home. Yum Yum! I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

I grew up for a while in CT (til I was 13, minus three years from first to third grade) and I never heard of Cape Cod chips or popcorn until I was in high school, here in the DC area

Hi Erin,

Now I would like to see that video of you as a kid! I do not remember Cape Cod popcorn just the chips and I grew up in the same area as my cousin Meaghan. But I am glad you found it. The one popcorn I never see they used to have when I was a kid was pink popcorn, it had some kind of carmelization on it and was sweet. I love Watson and his snack I bet he thinks it is deeeeelicious!

I'm just glad to hear you mention Jax! My DH grew up in Florida and it's been great fun introducing him to all the New England specific products, like NE style hot dog buns and Jax! I have great memories of eating them as a child, along with my mom's special dry Cheerios-green grape parfaits (instructions: grab a glass from the cabinet. drop in 5 or 6 green grapes. top with a thin layer of dry Cheerios. Repeat until the glass is full, ending with Cheerios.). Don't knock it 'til you try it! I'm glad you found the popcorn - it's so much fun to relive those things from our childhood!
