This is one of the coolest things I’ve heard of recently! I always mean to go to the farmer’s market to support our local farmers, but i never remember till Sunday…when they’re closed. Doh! Too bad we don’t have one of these around!

Chip-In Farm! I used to stop there for fresh eggs every single week after church (it was on my way home). Their homemade cider and egg nog are pretty much indescribable.

I’ve had a great experience with In Season so far (I started in September). The quality and service have been outstanding. In fact, Newton wasn’t even on the list until I emailed Chris, so he added it — just for me! Have you tried Lilly’s porcini ravioli? OH. MY. GOD.

I used to do a meat CSA from Stillman’s, and all that meat was frozen too. I stopped because, as you say, I got a lot of stuff I didn’t particularly want, and it wasn’t cheap. Now I choose my own stuff. I get a chicken from Chris every week.
