Definitely not a guy movie, but that said, I think they would enjoy it if dragged by their gfs/wives. Meryl Streep was great – she made Julia seem so nice and outgoing and friendly and just lovable!

I just saw and enjoyed this movie yesterday. It’s creative and fun. I went with my mother. How many movies today can I comfortably see while sitting next to my mother? Too few.

I saw this amazing movie at a prescreening two weeks ago and you
won’t be dissapointed, it’s fantastic. I host at in a fine cuisine
rest. and would like to see us do a Julie/Julia nite” at the restaurant when it finally comes out on DVD, after I see it about 4 more times!! Oscar should defintely court Meryl Streep for this beauty Fun, fun and more fun–enjoy it.

I just finished reading the book, and now I’m even more excited to go see the movie. While I can’t quite relate to everything Julie Powell goes through, I completely love and appreciate her soul searching journey she unknowingly set out upon, and I hope to have something similar happen to me one day, without even realizing it.

It makes me so happy to hear that the movie was delightful! I cannot wait to see it…

If I could find my copy, I’d reread Julie & Julia right now; however, it’s still in a box somewhere. Though I have downloaded My Life in France to my Kindle and am excited to read it before I see the movie.

I just love Julia Child, Amy Adams, and Meryl Streep…so I am so beyond excited for this movie.
