Whenever I go back to Maine it is required I bring home 1/2 dz Sams. Oil on the side. It's the bread, it's the onions, it's the oil, it's a Sams. The service is really great too. They really got it together. And Erin, I know what you mean about the cheese.... or is it the oil....or the onions? In my defense though we stopped at the store in Lewiston on our way back home. I think the closest Sam's to Portland is the one in Freeport. Amato's! They have a very unique pickle and fresh tomatos and delicious olives. I really miss them, you can get that at On The Run right after the on ramp to the turnpike from Auburn.
