Hi there,
My boyfriend just loves Julia Child, so I was searching online for something to get him and stumbled upon your post about the Julia Child candle. The candles you mentioned are no longer for sale, so I thought I'd try my hand at making him one (he is the cook, I the crafter). the candle came out beautifully, so I thought I'd share with you what your post started. You can see her here on my Etsy page. I made 8 of them, so if anyone wants one still...well...there they are!

Hey, I love those candles, did you make them yourself or did you buy them? If you made them, I would love to know more.

No joke... I have a Jesus candle in the kitchen that we've named King of Onion Induced Tears (blasphemy?) because I light him when I chop onions...

Oh, that's awesome! I could have used the intervention of St. Julia yesterday when a ganache containing two *pounds* of Callebaut broke and refused to be fixed. I so need this.
