Ooh, can't wait to hear how the limoncello tastes!

I was so excited to have a new episode of the Office...seeing Dwight show up to crash the dinner party with his bowl full of beets was hilarious -- and I died when Jan said she just put in the osso bucco which had to braise for THREE HOURS. The agony!

Best moments:
3) Michael dipping his food into his wine. "You know I have soft teeth."

2) The pan out to Michael's plasma TV. "Sometimes I stand here and watch TV...for hours."

1) "An oakey afterbirth." I had a boss like this. At a Christmas party, someone at each table would win the poinsettia centerpiece. He came over and asked, in all seriousness, "Who won the placenta?" I tried not to spit out my wine.

(I'm sure your party will be MUCH better!)

Troy and I had a date, I set the DVR, and STILL made sure we got home in time to watch. you know.. just in case.

I heart the office, and I'd totally hump the writers. you know.. if i wasn't saving them for you to win some ice cream.

what about cornish hens? nahh.. those are a PITA to eat. how about proscuitto-wrapped asparagus and goat cheese stuffed in a garlic-brushed chicken breast for a main course with the limoncello?

I'm delighted to have The Office back. There were so many gems in last night's episode. Some of my favorite moments were Michael's bed, the tiny plasma TV, Andy singing harmony to Jan's horrid CD, Pam in the bathroom telling us how hungry she was, Dwight and his date eating the food they brought while everyone else waited for the osso buco, and Jim showing off the stolen CD. It certainly was a great example of how not to host a dinner party.

I was ecstatic to see The Office return. It can definitely be uncomfortable, but that and it's insane humor are what makes it great. Hopefully, no one has ever felt so uncomfortable at my dinner parties, either. Good luck with your upcoming party!
