How cute are these organic alphabet pasta shapes from Trader Joe’s?! I’m 28 years old and I still couldn’t resist adding the package to my cart. I’m trying to decide what scrumptious dish I should make with them. So many possibilities…so little time. So what do you guys think? Any special recipe suggestions for the most adorable pasta shapes to ever grace my kitchen?

Classic mac & cheese style. With shallots.
honey, please.. my MAIN reason for having kids is so I can buy shaped pasta without any sideways glances from others!!
these are adorable!
I’d say chicken soup, but it’s so HOT out. I do love the idea of my name floating around in something I can see.
I just threw something together the other night… ham, mushrooms, artichokes and big cubes of mozzerella cheese tossed with pasta and a ‘sauce’ made from italian seasonings, my home-made vidalia onion vinegrette and some butter. great for summer cause it was hearty without a heavy consistency… and the dressing gave it a sweet punch.
but love the pasta! Harry and David tend to have fun shapes as well. (I got some flamingos and suns when I was home in jersey in june)
Those are SO cute! How have I overlooked them at Trader Joe’s the bazillion times I’ve been there?? I agree you need to make something classic. A little chicken soup or some mac and cheese.
Orrr you can string them on a necklace and wear it 🙂
Sues
I bought those months ago and STILL can’t figure out the perfect use.
I love those too! I make them with tomato sauce (the shape picks up sauce really well) and throw them in chicken soup. FAB stuff.
OOhhh … adorable! And Mason approves, he’s sitting here and shouted “A B D’s!!!” when he saw the picture. Yeah, we’re working on some skipped letters. 😉
I say something very cheeky … like gourmet Spaghetti O’s???
How about a nice pasta fagioli?!
Those are really cute! 🙂
You need to make individual pasta bakes for you and ck mac and cheese or spaghetti and meat balls
How cute would those little ones be!!!
Pasta salad since it is so HOT outside?!
These are so cute! I have never seen them in our TJ, or I might have as well overlooked. I am sure my daughter would love these! She can eat and learn at the same time:)) I agree with Hannah, pasta salad sounds great!
I just saw those there last Friday! I almost picked some up, but my two youngest won’t eat noodles that are colorful, they’ve got to be the “normal” colored ones. (can you see me rolling my eyes?)
I’ve been eying those too!!! Soooo cute! I would love some floating a great, savory tomato soup (w/grilled cheese of course)
Wow Erin! You really are a retail magnet! And I thought I was bad. 🙂
How about a spicy chicken pasta salad?
So cute! How about alphabet carbonara? Bacon, eggs, and your name for dinner.
Those are too cute! Think about it this way: those letters are way more sophisticated than alphabet soup! But ooh…the pressure, what to make with them that won’t cover up their fun shape? Maybe soup!!
I saw these mentioned in their little booklet, but haven’t had a chance to shop there yet. I’m 34, and I’d be all over this.
how about a nice minestrone? might not be the ideal season for it, but it’d be fun to grab a good ol’ spoon and start picking letters to form cuss words. see? 34 going on 12.
