Meeting Carrie

Erin & Carrie

On Friday afternoon I finally got to meet the one and only Carrie when she dropped by for a short visit. We squealed and hugged when I let her in my building. She commented on how tall I was. I admired her funky glasses. It was simply a fabulous first encounter. Carrie came bearing gifts not only for me but she also brought toys for Watson. How sweet is that?! Thankfully I had whipped up a batch of my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies for her or I would have felt like a super heel.

Carrie could only stay for a few hours so CK and I took her to Harvard Square, which we essentially sprinted through, and then had a nice lunch at Wagamama. Not exactly a truly Cambridge oriented outing but I really can’t get enough of their Yasai Katsu Curry dish. Then we sadly had to say goodbye. If you aren’t familiar with Carrie please stop by her personal blog or her food blog to say hello. She’s one of the warmest and most generous people I’ve ever encountered and I’m so glad to have finally met her in person.

Both of you together! How awesome! Now you both need to come to Portland so I can squeal and hug you both.

That would absolutely make me squeal and possibly also do a cartwheel 🙂

What a great visit! And how thoughtful of her to come bearing gifts. I am glad you finally got to meet in person. I am going to have to go check out her site now. Hope your day is good!

I still haven’t been to Wagamama, but I’ve been meaning to for the longest time. I LOVE meeting bloggers you’ve been reading for ages 🙂

Yay! You two look so cute together! And I’d say you did Cambridge justice… more for her to see on her next visit!

Thanks for the love, my dear!

it was beyond great to meet you as well! I swear I’ll actually post something on my blog again soon… once I get a little more unpacked and all!
