in Contests / Giveaways

Over the next few weeks I’ll be giving away 5 sets of brand new cookbooks, direct from the Erin Cooks bookshelf, that I’ve grouped into cute themes. Don’t worry I’ll dust them off before I send them out to the lucky winners. You never know when these giveaways will pop up online so it might be in your best interest to subscribe to the Erin Cooks feed either via email or rss.

Party Duo

With the holidays bursting into full gear next week I thought you might like a few new tips and tricks to add to your entertaining repertoire.

Great Party Fondue by Peggy Fallon is filled with delicious and unique fondue recipes perfect for any gathering, while Party Confidential: New Etiquette for Fabulous Entertaining is a sassy guide for the up and coming hostess with the mostess.

To win the “Pink and Cheesy Party Duo” all you have to do is leave a comment on this post (one comment per person please). A winner will be selected via the nifty random number generator on Wednesday, November 26th at noon. Good Luck!

[Love to Hänni for christening this contest with such an adorable name].

23 Whitney November 21, 2008 at 1:42 pm

Can you believe that I have never tried fondue? I know…criminal.

Love your website and my bf looooves your Banana Cake recipe 🙂

31 Kerri Anne November 21, 2008 at 6:11 pm

The first and only time I made fondue it was (awesome! and) for my babycarrot sister’s bachelorette party. I’m not quite sure there is anything better than scrumptious morsels on a stick dipped into something piping hot, be it cheese or chocolate.

32 Farina November 21, 2008 at 6:15 pm

Never had fondue before so I am in! 🙂

33 Kim Winn November 21, 2008 at 6:16 pm

34 Lauren November 21, 2008 at 6:49 pm

The perfect excuse to buy a fondue set…

35 Kim November 21, 2008 at 7:52 pm

We actually have a fondue pot. We don’t use it often, but it’s definitely been a family dinner on a few occasions.

36 Erin November 21, 2008 at 8:10 pm

I’ve been really wanting a fondue pot – great book picks!

37 sharon November 21, 2008 at 8:27 pm

Hmm, I love both cheese, pink, and parties so this giveaway is just right for me! 🙂

38 grace November 22, 2008 at 4:02 am

if i win, you don’t have to worry about dusting the books off–they’d be right at home on my shelves. 🙂

39 homedotmade November 22, 2008 at 6:54 am

I love the color pink, and well…I’m married to someone whose been called cheesy more than once…and we both LOVE fondue! In fact, that’s our plan for our little New Year’s Eve celebration this year. Fondue party!

Thanks for the contest!!

44 Emily November 23, 2008 at 4:28 pm

My boyfriend and I just went to the Melting Pot last week for the first time. It was amazing! So it would be great to be able to create fondue at home, without spending all that money going out to eat.

45 Isabelle November 24, 2008 at 1:12 am

Sounds like fun. Maybe my friends would enjoy a great retro fondue party over Christmas vacation. Thanks for the contest!

46 Pam November 24, 2008 at 9:02 am

I love fondue, but I hate paying the big bucks for it when I go out. I’d love to learn to make it at home.
