Congratulations S. Sommerville! You were “lucky number” 45. You’ll be receiving the “Keep it Simple Duo” that includes The Best Casserole Cookbook Ever and Entertaining Simple in the mail shortly. Thank you to everyone for participating! Your next opportunity to win is outlined below.
Some of my first cooking and cookbook memories involve those little glossy Pillsbury booklets that they sell in supermarket checkout aisles. My mom bought them often and sometimes they even came in the mail. I liked to get out a big stack and page through them, with my ultimate destination always being the dessert sections located at the end of the books. All of the recipes inside seemed incredibly difficult to my 7-year-old self, but I just loved the brightly lit photographs of bat-shaped grilled cheese sandwiches, neatly decorated sugar cookie trees, and intricate lattice topped pie crusts. Even now I still can’t resist looking through one if it comes across my path. If you also have a nostalgic place in your heart for all things Pillsbury then Pizza Night and the Best of the Bake-Off Cookbook should definitely become a part of your cookbook collection.
To win the “Pillsbury Duo” all you have to do is leave a comment on this post (one comment per person please). A winner will be selected via the nifty random number generator on Wednesday, December 17th at noon. PS: You never know when these giveaways will pop up online so it might be in your best interest to subscribe to the Erin Cooks feed either via email or rss.
*Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I am only able to ship books to those of you who live in the U.S.*
