Note: This contest is now closed. Congratulations to Ashley (lucky number 15) who reported that Kate is allergic to horses. Hopefully she remembers her Claritin at the next Polo Match.
Princess Kate cookies! OMG. Have you guys seen these? I was the lucky recipient of a very special, limited edition tin filled with an assortment of delicious Walkers award-winning shortbread cookies last week. I’ve become a Royal Wedding fanatic over the past few months so I’m beyond in love with this great keepsake. I also desperately need a tall glass of cold milk after sampling all of the terrific cookie flavors packed inside this pretty box including the classic buttery original recipe in various dainty shapes, chocolate chip, and butterscotch. By the way, the original are by far my favorite. Somehow they manage to be crisp yet light, buttery but not heavy — obviously they’re magical cookies.
A tin of these treats would be the perfect early morning accompaniment to your Royal Wedding viewing this Friday. I was originally hoping to break out the bubbly but 4:00 AM seems like a rough hour to toast Wills and Kate on their union. Cookies and a spot of tea seem much more civilized.
You can purchase the cookies online at the Walkers website or, for all of my fellow (possibly closeted) Royal Wedding aficionados, I’d like to offer you the chance to win a Royal Wedding Tin of your very own. Simply leave a comment on this post detailing something you’ve learned about Kate Middleton over the past few months or your favorite (perhaps even most absurd) Royal Wedding souvenir you’ve seen online or in the news. I’ll pick a winner via the nifty random number generator at 5:00 PM EST on Friday, April 29th (you know what that day is!) and then I’ll promptly have a tin shipped to your home. Good Luck!
PS: My fake Princess Diana ring featured in this post is unfortunately not included in your tin. That classic piece of kitsch is mine-all-mine.
