Zeitgeist Coffee

Zeitgeist Coffee

I’ve always been a Starbucks girl even though 50% of the time the lattes are horrible, or cold, or taste burnt. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment, but I still enjoy a good White Mocha. That’s probably why I keep going back – the eternal hope that this time my drink will be delicious and not disgusting.

Seattle is the mother ship of Starbucks, and while I was there I didn’t drink a drop. Why not? Well because I found latte nirvana at a little coffee shop in Pioneer Square called Zeitgeist. I’m not kidding when I say this coffee was amazing. After going into some sort of ecstatic caffeinated state following my first drink I was determined to make the pilgrimage from our hotel to this heavenly beverage as often as possible. According to Google Maps we were walking 1.2 miles for coffee one way. It was so worth it. You have no idea how much I miss it. I think I’m ruined forever now. No other White Mocha can ever possibly compare. In addition, I believe Zeitgeist helped my sanity immensely when I had a little incident on the ferry to Bainbridge Island that was quite meltdown worthy.
