Quiche is one of my top 5 favorite foods. I love the flaky crust, melted cheeses, and all of the yummy textures and veggies. It’s the perfect meal, especially since you can serve it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. What more can you ask for? PS: Yes, real men really do eat quiche. Just ask CK. Click here for the recipe.

you know, i am really bad at cooking, but i actually feel like looking at your pictures i might be able to figure it out. i can follow directions in a recipe, but my biggest problem is i don’t know how things should “look”…this is helpful. now i want quiche. i wish i lived closer so i could eat the leftovers.
Kristen,
You should make David quiche this weekend. He’d be so impressed! PS: I asked my mother for the pink kitchen aid for Christmas per your recommendation.
How are the avocados?

God Erin this looks SO good. I can never find a good quiche recipie, this one looks do-able. How do you feel about omlettes?
Thanks Erin! I actually can’t make omlettes at all. They’re my cooking nemesis. Instead of omlettes I make scrambles:

Yum! I’ve always wanted to try making quiche, but it always looks so difficult…I may feel froggy and have to try it now!! But more importantly, where on earth did you get the great polka dot and stripes plate? I love it – I deliberately got solid white dishes so that I could get fun things like that to mix and match, and now I can never actually FIND cute, fun things like that!
Heather,
Don’t get too excited about the polka dot plates. They’re just something I keep around that I picked up at CVS on clearance. They’re actually plastic. I wish they were ceramic because then they would seriously be the best plates ever.
You should definitely try making quiche. The hard part is making the pie crust, but why put yourself through the agony — just buy Pillsbury! That’s my motto.
Hei Erin
Thank you ever so much for this wonderfully practical how-to on making a quiche!! Take care and do keep cooking. Rii
try the vegetable quiche at S&S Deli in Cambridge, MA. AMAZING!!
